Meet Featured Builder Caleb "Cro" Owens

Caleb "Cro" Owens is a multidisciplinary artist living in Newbury Park, Calif. Caleb has been wrenching, building, and riding custom bikes and choppers out of his side hustle shop Cro Customs for over 20 years. His custom builds have garnered numerous awards over the years, including winning the coveted Born Free Show "Invited Builder' awards 2 years in a row, BF3 and BF4. Caleb was an early supporter and brand ambassador of many well-known brands today, including 805 Beer.

In 2018, Caleb switched his focus from commission builds to parts and select projects and simply building old bikes to ride. Cro Customs' signature part, The Cro’s Nest, and line of handlebars for springer forks are all handmade one at a time by Caleb in his home shop. Caleb continues to design and develop small batches of unique parts. 

Outside of Cro Customs, Caleb is a full-time dad to his 10-year-old daughter Kaia, a tenured art professor at Cal State Northridge, and occasionally doing visual effects work for major films and tv. Please swing by Cro Customs' booth during the show and speak to Caleb about your moto needs!
