He would work with the organizers making sure things would go smoothly and if he were alive today he would have his own bike build in the show. The organizers Dave and Tory honor Ross with a special award every year. Majik Mike (Mike Rabideau) was the winner of the Ross Tomas memorial award with his very fine Knucklehead. Congratulations Mike on a very fine build and being a very nice guy."

Harley-Davidson and Born-Free present The Stampede

Please support our friends at Harley-Davidson and Born-Free for The Stampede tomorrow afternoon at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Gates open to the public at 2 pm. Racing to start ASAP. Mains to start approx 7 pm. General admission is $20 with senior and kids discounts. A limited number of Pit Passes are available at the front admission gates for spectators. Our goal for the Chopper Fest has always been to create a platform for artists and builders to showcase their talents while inspiring future generations. The art and bike show had so much talent, and the love for Dave Mann was evident with all the tribute art on display. This year's event was met with some challenges, we had some tough decisions to make, and I personally want to thank everyone who lightened the load weighing on my mind with their positive, upbeat attitudes despite the weather. The Bike Show entry is $40 and includes 1 general admission and 1 event t-shirt. The judges will choose which class(es) your bike best fits. You only need to enter it once. The show is open to the public and is not just for builders. We have 22 classes and over 50 awards given out!

Best in Show wins $2500 from Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys. Best Harley-Davidson Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Antique and David Mann's Memorial Award win $500. The four "Best Of" classes will win a trophy and a Biltwell helmet of your choice. 1st place trophies are amazing works of art by Sonny Boy. Second and 3rd place receive ribbons.
