Art By Shawn Dickinson

Shawn Dickinson was born and raised in Southern California, the land of bikes & hot rods, surf culture, and the Golden Age of Hollywood Cartoons. He took to cartooning at an early age and continues to draw and paint his influences from the Southern California lifestyle. 

Beginning his career as an underground cartoonist, he then started working as an illustrator for various garage, punk, and surf bands.

He soon began working for larger companies such as Fender Guitars, Live Nation, Shaun White, and many others. His spare time is spent painting scenes of cartoon weirdos and sexy go-go babes engaged in all things lowbrow. 

 He currently lives in Palmdale California, and continues to work as a cartoonist and illustrator for rock bands, hot rod events, clothing brands, and more. 

His new art book "Inks, Drinks, and Catfinks - The Custom Cartoon Art of Shawn Dickinson" has recently been published by Yoe Books & IDW Publishing, and is currently available in bookstores!
